Stint On Stage works with local and international talent and artists. We regularly provide actors, singers, hostesses, musicians and specialty talents for external entertainment and hospitality companies. We fulfill each client’s vision and artistic needs by finding the best talent for their theatre show, concert, event, recording or function.
Canadian choreographer, dancer and pilates specialist Amy Van Dooremalen now resides in Singapore and works with Stint On Stage. She started dancing at the age of three taking lessons in ballet, jazz, tap, modern and acrobatics. Amy went on to graduate with honours from York University in Toronto, Canada where she obtained a B/FA in Dance. Under the direction of Darcey Callison, Donna Krasnow, Anna Blewchamp and Luc Tremblay she received extensive modern dance training in both the Limon and Graham styles. Amy participated in an exclusive dance exchange program which took her to England’s Chichester Institute. She also trained with the Rambert Dance Company (London), the Toronto Dance Theatre and the Strictly Modern Program with Peggy Baker, Pat Miner and Pat Fraser (Canada). As a professional dancer and choreographer Amy has worked for over ten years with numerous modern dance companies and choreographers in Canada. She also choreographed and performed annually in the Toronto Fringe Festival of Independent Dance Artists (fFIDA).
Diverse Canadian sculptor, visual and graphic artist Billy Ma has returned to his Asian roots. Born in Taiwan, after living and studying for many years abroad, Billy now lives in Singapore and is working with Stint On Stage. He was raised and educated in Canada with a background in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Art History and Fashion Design. Because of this diversity he is able to utilise many disciplines of the arts across many creative fields. It’s this diversity that drives Billy to welcome any challenge requiring artistry and visual provocation. He has designed the trophies for the Molson Indy (Toronto), created commercial murals for Heineken to Smirnoff (several of which were 30x20 ft!) and numerous private commissions. His 2008 Toronto art show completely sold out. He has an innate belief in the principles of Buddhism and practices this philosophy in life with a passion for travel, adventure and all that touches the human spirit.
