Direction & Vocal Coaching
Stint On Stage provides direction, vocal coaching and other creative team work for Singaporean arts and event companies. This can be for a single performance, event, one-off production, festival or series of shows. We draw on the latest contemporary practices as well as western performance traditions to create dynamic, engaging and inspiring performances.
Our Creative Team division, including direction and vocal coaching, is managed by founder Nicole Stinton.
Nicole Stinton – Director & Vocal Coach
Nicole performed professionally on the west coast of Australia directing and vocal coaching for Vogue Entertainment, Spirit Productions, Channel 7, colleges and at various venues including the Regal, Forest Chase, Perth Concert Hall, Perth Convention Exhibition Centre and Burswood. She has an extensive performance background working for over 15 years across Australia as an actor, vocalist, pianist and dancer, and as a musical theatre, acting and voice specialist teacher. She holds a BA in Theatre, Graduate Diploma in Drama and Music, a Certificate in Classical Music, as well as a BA in Musical Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and is currently studying her MBA through Deakin University.
Nicole moved to Singapore in 2007 to launch arts and training company Stint On Stage. She has directed in Singapore for the Esplanade – Theatres on The Bay, The Open Stage, Singapore Institute of Management, Escape Theatre, Lasalle College of The Arts, Short+Sweet and ArsMedia. Nicole has also vocal coached and arranged for Music Theatre Limited, choreographed for UWC and assisted with Vocals for Zebra Crossing.
