Stint On Stage was founded in 2007 by Australian performer, director and vocal specialist Nicole Stinton.
For the last three years, Stint On Stage has been involved in Singaporean productions, events, projects and professional development across the arts and communications industries. Our team works with leading arts companies including Centre Stage, Escape Theatre, Short+Sweet, The Arts House, The Esplanade – Theatres On The Bay and Zebra Crossing.
We have provided specialist performing arts teachers and lecturers for Beatty Secondary, CaucAsian Faces, Centre Stage, Hwa Chong Institution, Lasalle College of The Arts, Nan Chiau Secondary, The Budding Artists Fund, Republic Polytechnic, Steps to Success, United World College, 21st Century Cultural Arts Development as well as our own workshops and classes. We have worked with Explosive Minds, Leading Initiatives and Maura Faye Global to provide professional development facilitation.
Stint On Stage also regularly provides actor, singer, musician and specialty talent for the arts industry. We are working with Echo Studio, The Hidden Host, SALT, Spin Network, The Studio Loft and private organisations. We also have supported charity events such as the SNOW Ball.
At the end of 2008, we extended our performing arts focus to include visual and graphic arts creatives. Last year, Stint On Stage expanded its repertoire into theatrical and event design, specialising in lighting, set and audiovisual design.
Nicole Stinton has performed as an Actor, Singer and Dancer across Australia for over 15 years. In Australia she worked extensively as a Vocal Coach and Director, including for Spirit Productions, Vogue Entertainment, TVNetwork 7 and on independent productions such as Les Miserables (2001). Nicole’s eight years of tertiary training include a Musical Theatre BA from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She now teaches Musical Theatre, Acting and Voice to both professionals and students.
Nicole, based in Singapore, works as a freelance Performer, Director, Vocal Coach and Lecturer. This has included with Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay, Arsmedia, Lasalle College of The Arts, 21st Century Performing Arts Festival (Malaysia), Zebra Crossing, KLPac (Malaysia), Escape Theatre, The Arts House and The Open Stage. She is currently Festival Director of Short+Sweet Singapore and Founding Director of Stint on Stage. Nicole recently performed with acclaimed reviews as the blonde bombshell Norma Cassidy in Victor/Victoria at the Esplanade.
